Well. That was actually insulting. Mind, the Doctor couldn't entirely blame him or anything, but it was very insulting nonetheless. He couldn't help the slight pout, although the talk of Gallifrey and people who could help made the blow to his ego seem minor in comparison to the feelings that brought on. He latched onto the only thing Koschei said that he could reply to without having to tell him that there was no way they could go back to Gallifrey, not ever again.
"A device, yeah? Can we build it?" Maybe that was a solution. Anything better than having to stand there and explain to Koschei just what had happened to Gallifrey.
