"You'll be fine, Jack." The Doctor spoke into a microphone after configuring the settings to make sure the Captain could hear him alright. "They are done evacuating, so it's just the two of us and a lot of stuff that could kill us. Just like old times. I take it back, maybe it's a date after all. I'm a great romantic." He hoped his fairly poor attempts at humour might cease Jack's worry. "Alright. Do you see the broken valve? There should be a replacement piece somewhere nearby. Looking exactly like that, just, well, not broken. Do you see it?"
