Jack looked up to confirm the Doctor's story and nodded. Well, he wasn't wrong. "It did a very nice job of that, actually." Jack slid from the bed to find his own trousers. He'd need to clean everything up before he went to bed.

Once he had his trousers fastened, he looked over at the Doctor, watching him curiously. "You don't have to stay if you don't want to," he said. The Doctor looked like he was about ready to dash out the door at a moment's notice. "I'm just happy you came at all."
